I have a couple of questions regarding the upgrade path and the license system:
1. if i buy CS3 ed2 now, will I be able to upgrade to ed5 later on for only the difference in price?
2. can i use the pack on my studio pc as well as on my laptop without having to transfer licenses or anything every time?
3. if i buy the full version of concert strings, can i also get the light version to put on my laptop to save space?

I also emailed these questions and these were the answers i got:

Currently, we are not certain as to the exact upgrade path from lower editions of CS3 to higher ones. Initially, the idea was to simply make the offer to buy the higher editions for the difference in price. However, we want to create an incentive to purchase the higher editions. So I will get back to you once there is an answer to this.

You can use the library on 3 systems without the need of further licenses.
