CPU Spiking with Diamond TVEC 3.1 Woodwinds

I've got five TVEC 3.1 woodwinds and no other instruments loaded in my song. looked at Studio One's performance monitor, and my cpu spikes several time during the song. This happens when the instruments are loaded separately and when loaded into a Kontakt multi.

At first, I thought it was just Kontakt, but I replaced the KH instruments with instruments from other Kontakt libraries (on the same song) and the cpu didn't spike at all. So, I figured it was the KH instruments, so I replaced the 3.1 woodwinds with TVEC 4 strings and brass, and again, there was no problem, except one spike.

Here are my specs:

Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 Bit
Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 Dual Core Processor
8 GB RAM
DAW: Studio One, versions 2 & 3

Is there a setting I can change to make those 3.1 woodwinds less CPU hungry?
