Hi there,
I'm sure I ran across a Contra Bass Viol somwehere in either Diamond or Emerald that was playing in ocatves, but today, looking for it I can't find it.
If someone can point me to it's location/name I'd be grateful.
Thank you,
Steve

EDIT: Couldn't find it except in some odd instances only on certain velocities.
So: I built one from an other instrument.

Here's how:
First - save a safe copy so you don't ruin an instrument.
Then -
With Edit all groups unchecked:
Select all groups manually (ideally in an instrument that doesn't have a lot of groups) my choice had 5.
Choose edit > duplicate groups.
De select the original groups
Highlight the duplicated groups and turn the tune knob up to +12.

Now to keyswitch it
from single octave to 2 octaves at once.

1) Select the original group only and set the Keyswicking to span 2 notes.
Go into Group start options > on Key and for mine is was C4 to C#4.

1) Now deselect the original groups and select the groups you just transposed up an octave.
Set thouse groups to only play on the second KS note which is C#4.

So, when hitting C4 before playing you get one octave and when hitting C#4 you get both octaves playing together.
