i'll see what i can do once se is upgraded and my registration works. i had jeff send me a key a few weeks ago after i upgraded my pc, but it didn't work. i'm probably just going to buy a new copy. but when i can i'll be sure to make sure the upgrades are done to these. i've a feeling both jack and i layout our se schema pretty much the same way - anyway - rock on buggers. this is a strange day in fsuland.Jazzyspoon wrote:This makes me wish I knew SE. Yes, the perfect move. Best wishes to you in the new year. In the effects thread i jumped to some conclusions and apologise.rlahalla wrote:Checkmate - nice move Jack Dark.

I hope you have a good and prosperous 2008.

This is cool, handy to have all the modules included. I'm going to try to take apart sizzle spine and put in rectifiers. Thanks!
Edit:Just compiled it, it already has rectifiers, plenty of them. Well then I'm going to add 2 octave up rectify, and optimize it for my guitar. Maybe.

Good to hear you were able to open the project and navigate its innards without any problems. I was really worried about module-not-found errors for the masses, not to mention my chaotic gutworks in general.RunBeerRun wrote:This is cool, handy to have all the modules included. It would be cool to see a stereo version of Sizzle Spine. I figured out a way to make it stereo and also cut out 9/10ths the CPU usage but never implemented it into a new version. Basically instead of having multiple redundant columns of FX units internally, there'd only be one set... and instead multiple CV sequencers which'd follow the patterns set by the user. Really easy to do actually... which is probably why I never went back and did it. Kinetic Visual Replay and X-FX really took the piss out of me. After those two projects I knew I was done.
Not much left to say about any of this except I'm looking forward to seeing what others do with all the stuff. There's so many projects to rip pieces out of and frankenstein new insanity from. FSU endless I hope.

I must say a truly classy way to bow out Jack. Merci beaucoup. I hope there are dedicated SE users (my self included) that can learn from these and continue to improve SE's image as you have and the produce some sweet plugins.
Thanks and Good Luck Jack.

I got it started, I put a rectifier in column 1 before the waveshaper, it worked. Now my idea is put 2 octave up rectify in another column, maybe 1 octave down(NewWave module) in another, 2 down in the next....

All the module's names are blanked out in Sizzle, I don't really know what is what, removed a couple do-nothing's, seems to be normal now.
Working on Column3, putting in octave down, I'm not getting a clean signal, haven't found out what is distorting it, it's going before the waveshaper. The rectifiers work well though(Column 1 and 2). Don't really like the waveshapers, would like to replace w/EVM Wavewarper.

In the final NOVUZEIT projects I started doing weird shit to try to obfuscate the code. Blanking out modules, having red herring audio paths, fake-naming selectors, etc. This was done in an attempt to thwart Amplify from hacking anymore of my demos. I even left them some personal notes a few times. Anyway I guess all the insanity worked, once I started doing all that, Amplify stopped uncrippling my trialware. But that could of just been coincidence of course... then again, NGRP stopped hacking my demos as well around that time.RunBeerRun wrote:All the module's names are blanked out in Sizzle, I don't really know what is what

you've always seemed like a very decent fellow, Mr. Dark.
Although I've never been a fan of your plugs (honestly, its partly avoiding SE stuff, but mostly your ugly ass GUIs), I've often been in awe of how approachable you seem.
Even though I won't be needing your file (I don't bother with SE, obviously) I would like to thank you.

There's a lot of good prefabs in there, sequencers, arpeggiators, more helpful than the built in crud with Synthedit, ooh an fm synth.
