I tried se 1.1 for a while, started my 1st drum synth, it was just a sine osc and an inverted envelope, crashed on play. Tried different oscillators and envelopes, crash. Built it in se 1.0, finished it, loaded in same version of se 1.1, oh now it works.
Everyone has stories of non-reproducable issues with se 1.1. What new does it offer to the personal user? I can just compile incremented versions of any of my plugins I use multiple instances of.

don't even appear on the menu.
only sdk2 sems (or older?)
if i want to use SE i have to have a very pale/white background.
anything else, and that's what i get.
i don't agree that the other cable direction is more logical:
if you build something from a list backwards, to a subcontrol
controller, -which you have to- you end up with the GUI part on
the left: that's more logical.

True-sdk3 modules don't work in se1.0, but there's like 5 skd3 modules available to the public as of so far. I'm not greedy, I must have hundreds of sdk2 modules.
I just want free sounds, mainstream companies have wimpy stuff with high cpu, intensive installers, dark uninspiring gui's, hardware bolts all over, not very conducive to any creative process.
