Hello,

I'm currently trying to conduct a market research about SynthEdit. I'd like to estimate the approximate user base, and whether or not these people are interested in SynthEdit specific extensions or further products and/or services based on the SEM module technology.

To conduct this research, I did set up a poll. If you are using or have used SynthEdit and interested in modular audio, I'd ask you to participate. I will estimate the amount of interest based on the number of views and responses to this poll.

To take part in the the survey, please visit:

I filled it out honestly, was quite a long one! I'm just a hobbiest who needs low cpu. Se 1.1 onwards doesn't have per-container poly.

Thank you! Well, although it's not stated, all questions are optional, if you don't specify an answer, it's simply skipped. But naturally, the more data I have, the clearer picture I get about what people want.

I filled it out.

It wasn't that long IMO - all on one page. I've seen longer.

Done.

Some interesting questions there....so are you thinking about trying a wrapper for 32->64bit sems?

Or an alternative SEM host?
Q. Why is a mouse when it spins?
A. The higher the fewer.

I'm definitely interested in anything that can export to vst, am both a Synthedit and Synthmaker user.

Technically, if you have a host for 32-bit SEMs and you put that inside a 64 bit SEM, then you have a 32->64 bit SEM wrapper. I think wrapping individual 32-bit SEMs would be really inefficient. But this is just speculation, and would probably have significant limitations even if it worked.

i like the idea of spitting out sems with a synthedit - if it could save
on performance - in plugin, and in host.

scripts: or add-on apps to perform jobs, that can be run/loaded
separately and interface with the host(can't remember what for,
offhand ..)

Had a few errors today when submitting the survey. Fixed it, should be working again. Sorry for any hassle.
