Ample Bass slide confusion

I am trying to slide some notes on my Ample Bass plugin. Sometimes it slides, most of the time it doesn't.

My goal is to slide from like the 7th, 8th, or 10th fret down to open, or second fret on the D string. These are decent length slides.

What happens is on G string the 2nd fret is played, and like the 8th fret is played on the D string. This results in no slide at all.

I am configuring the slides right in the piano roll of my DAW (at least I think I am), as sometimes it works usually like 1 out of 20 times. I use FL Studio 12. on Windows 10 64bit.

Is there a setting I am missing somewhere? How does one dictate the slide from a high note to a low note on one string, as opposed to playing the higher note on the high string, and a lower note on the low string?
