Hello,
I want to install my Guitar(s) on a non-system harddisk (using Windows 10).
For most of the data (e.g. the samples) this works, however a lot of stuff is nevertheless being installed in the "user" directory regardless of the options I choose. On my computer this is a networked drive (NAS) and therefore much slower, which hurts every time I load a Guitar into my DAW.
Any solution on this one?
Installation in other directory

Obviously the installation path is hardwired, even if I create a Link instead of the directoty "User\XXX\Documents\Ample Sound", it will replace/overwrite my link with a new directory...

You can move guitar library to any location then set the new path on settings panel. it did not work?
The original path should be user\shared\ample sound, it is not "User\XXX\Documents\Ample Sound", only presets are installed in that folder.
