I want to see a Videoediting Part in Bitwig, like the "ZGame Editor" in FLStudio!!!

FL Studio Guru | Making YouTube Videos with ZGameEditor Visualizer:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rq6nEih6CGk

Bitwigs Visualizer should also import
- gif,
- png,
- jpeg
next to the best options of video formats

and some freaky effects like
- complex mirroring,
- blur
- color manipulation
- alpha channels
- distorsions
- graphics like lines or geometric objects
with parameter automations.

Export direct to
- youtube
- soundcloud
- bandcamp

or/ and "mp4, avi, flv" seperate to "wav, flac, mp3, ogg"

extra awsomeness:
- a video should linked to a videosnippet :hyper: =)
- live performance with a projection of ur visuals, wtf =)

It is simply the best part in your production, for ur mind, when u have visuals to your music.
Just spread your creativity to your eyes and be with my hype for this idea (may anyone had the same). This is the next part of musicproduction and sure a jump for the next bitwig milestone.

I actually try to export stems or a full track to FL and build visuals around with ZGame.
It works, but it needs two DAW´s...get into a real Videoeditor is too time-intense.

buy corel draw or photoshop.. there you have lots of visual effects

no.

Video player to score a video - sure, why not.

Extra tools to edit the video - hell no, as it'll take away dev time (there's 4 of them, heavily specialised) from real DAW features.

There's already good apps that can do these sort of things perfectly. Don't want bloat in Bitwig with things not related to music.

Maybe in v8 or something, I don't see this as such a high importance feature since video editors exist already and integrating one to the DAW from a scratch would be a huge amount of work.

Altough, it would be cool if the internal modulators and sidechains could be used to modulate video fx...

Hm, yeah okay...i see also workflow-stucks, and minor improvements needed...before video can be a Idea.

Really nice to have, but low priority I think. Why not just get FL for this. I also think, if they would make a standalone version of "ZGame Editor" they would sell some of them. :-)

For now maybe the best is to use Touchdesigner with a MIDI loopback driver.

Last week I experimented with cables.gl + loopMidi + Bitwig Studio. Was able to send MIDI notes + CC values from BwS to a cables.gl patch running in my web browser to control position of 3D objects + colors. Lots of possibilities here, especially when generating the CCs using Bitwig's modulators. And it's free for now. Also I could export the patch I made and start it from a local server (without internet connection but it required some basic node.js + html knowledge). Workflowwise cables.gl is pretty comfortable to work with. (I don't know touchdesigner so I can't compare)

Worked pretty well and fluent though there is some small latency between sound and picture. Also when I tried to do a screen recording of it (using OBS Studio), framerate went down drastically so I would have to film my screen using an external camera to record the result :/
I thought about doing a tutorial about how to set this up but that would be my first one. Let me know (PM) if you want to know more.

Please not. There is plenty of VJ and video editing software out there.
