I played Linnstrument with my band today in the afternoon, and I could not see the LEDs at all. I really felt the need for it to have hard markings on the surface, or if not that, then at least an add-on for it with markings. Does such a thing exist?
Also, I've tried putting a regular plastic on top and playing Linnstrument, and it doesn't really affect it's behaviour.

The current model has a Braille-size bump on all "C" note pads (in the default tuning and transposition). You can buy a replacement rubber sheet with these bumps for $69 including shipping to anywhere:

You're welcome to print a sheet of thin paper with white and black wherever you choose, then simply place it under the rubber sheet. The black areas will appear through the translucent rubber sheet. It will of course block the LED light, but if this doesn't matter to you then it's fine.

It should be extremely thin or it will affect the touch sensitivity.
