New User Introduction

Hi Everyone,

I purchased and have been working with the Linnstrument for close to 4 weeks now and I'm very pleased and excited with the instrument and my progress. I have been a jazz guitar player for over thirty five years and I see that this will become my main instrument very soon. I have been playing in a trio consisting of guitar, sax and drums for several years now with the guitar (me) covering the bass, so my first stage is to play the bass on the left spilt and chords and lines on the right split. I am using the fourth tuning and finding it surprisingly easy to adjust. As expected, coordinating the two hands is a challenge, but the familiarity of patterns from the fretboard makes this easier than a traditional keyboard. I plan on using the instrument on my next gig July 19th, so I will try and post some videos if not too embarrassing.
