Hi everyone.
I am planing to buy an electric piano vst. I havea really limited knowledge and, at the moment, i was thinking mainly about two products:
- https://gospelmusicians.com/neo-soul-keys-studio.html (199$ desktop, 25$ ios version)
- https://www.applied-acoustics.com/lounge-lizard-ep-4/ (199$ desktop full, 99$ desktop limited)
I am pending more towards Lounge Lizard bacause of the number of presets and the fact that is not based on samples.
Do you guys have tried them with the linnstrument or can suggest something else?
thank you
p

A bit more cash but have you thought of Keyscape: https://www.spectrasonics.net/products/ ... /index.php
This has to be the most fantastic piece of software ever made
I haven't tried the two plugins you mention but I do have Chromaphone, Ultra analog and Tassman from Applied Acoustics and they are all very good so I would guess Lounge Lizard probably is as well.

Bitwig, against the constitution.

I like the Rhodes sound in my Logic/Mainstage file, which is samples and MPE-compatible. Or given that MPE isn’t so important for electric piano, I think Logic/Mainstage’s built-in Vintage Electric Piano software instrument is very good.

Thank you for the reply
unfortunately i have only my win7, so no logic
I heard some stuff about keyscape, but now it's too expensive for me.
In the meanwhile i downloaded the demo of lounge lizard and i will give it a try. I also found this nice free plugin http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?pl ... -E&id=2813 and it sounds amazing to my ears. But of course not a lot of tweaking available.
BobDog, i also installed the "session" demo of ultra analog. Is it me or it has no velocity sensitivity?

Keyscape is amazing! Really playable and beautiful tones.
If you have Kontakt, you should try The Canterbury Suitcase by Sonicouture. My favorite EP for playability. It just feels right.

I also think Garage Band on iOS has a very good electric piano sound.

I have Wurlitzer V and all the electric pianos in Komplete Ultimate 11, but Lounge Lizard is my favorite.
A co-worker who's a very accomplished jazz pianist highly recommended MrRay73 Mark II, but I already had so many piano VSTs I didn't check it out.
