If we already have a bunch of your plugins is there a possible upgrade path ?

Yes, just open a support ticket and I can build you a custom coupon code based on your purchases. :phones:

Another one against subscription model.. I want to own my tools, not to have to ask a "psychological" (monthly payments) permission to use them. And the big scare is when a company is closing, what happens next in a subscription model?

I really love the "rent to own" idea but I think there must be a small financial penality for trying out the product for months for pennies (or a few dollars). It must not be a 100% displacement of the location price on the retail price or else your loaning cash to use your software at 0% interest rate

It only makes sense to me if the vendor has a huge high quality catalog... East West Composer cloud for example provides you with over $14 000 worth of material which if you are into orchestal stuff or media work is worth the montly charge. No one else comes close in the audio realm. Slate is trying but still their overall value is not there in my estimation.

In video work Adobe Creative Cloud is also good value for subscribers. In most other scenarios subscription is the least cost effective way in the long run.
