Yeah, not exactly that good IMHO. A bit too farty sounding, lacks definition in the low end. Sounds like stoned Judas Priest. :D

Hi,

Since at first I basically didn't touch any EQ for anything except as valveEQ preset, i'll file this under a compliment ;).. Yea the bass is 100% time too bassy and too loud .. lol - Edited since.

About that "stoned" judas priest, it was where i wanted to go, a bit sloppy.. I was aiming old school death metal...

but, primarily, I was trying a trick to see if people would zoom on it quickly :

i played this on a floyd rose Ibanez in E standard and downpitched each DI track by 6 semitones to "modernize" it a little with ReaPitch.. Can't really lower the pitch on a floyd rose with 9's, it's like playing rubber bands and the springs messes intonation blabla. you know.

f I play the track unshifted, the bass calm down, it must be a side effect of the pitching...

I guess kinda worked fine ?

I kinda like "Stoned judas priest" description.

(I reworked it quickly to make it more listenable, see 1st post)
