I've just done a clean re-install of Zebra 2.5.4. There is definitely something not right with Zebra's handling of midi messages and midilearn/unlearn on my system, and the results I tabled above change over time...!!!JeeTee wrote:Fair enough - I'm fairly sure Cubase 6.5.1 handles virtual instruments differently to 3.1.1.4, not sure if that would make a difference. Should Zebra receive data on all midi channels? Also, it seems midiunlearn doesn't work in the latest version. Very weird!Fritze wrote:HiJeeTee,JeeTee wrote:OK - I think I understand what's going on here -JeeTee wrote:Problems here with Zebra 2.5.4. Seems to be controller related - I have cntrl 7 assigned to Zebra's output volume. 3 Zebras in the project, and the third instance crashes Cubase whenever I use an external controller to manipulate the output volume.
Tried this with Zebra 2.5.2 - it's fine.
Here's the Cubase Project, created with Cubase SX 3.1.1.4.

Of course, this might be user error. Can anyone confirm?

well, I do have Cubase 6.5.1 here and it doesn't crash here.
Not sure what else to do - I'm rolling back to 2.5.2. Thanks for checking this Fritze.
