The nice thing about having the components is they can be mixed with other components in DIVA. I'm waiting to use MS-20 oscillators with Oberheim filters.fmr wrote:Not the oscillators, not the filter, the WHOLE.

Somewhere out there there's a synth with meh oscillators and blah filters, but totally amazing envelopes and it should be on this list

Great point xh3rv. In the old times we were bound by the constraints of certain synths, but now we can explore even the various combination of envelopes, filters, oscillators... it makes a perfect sense to me.

It's all good. Whatever the U-He team decides to add (if they add anything) I'm sure I'll enjoy it. I'd prefer to be surprised.

Honestly VORT3X, there's so many emulations of 303, and you can make them sound like anything you want with the right plugins, that I don't think we need any more 303 emulations. Further more, you would be throwing the 1500$ for nothing if you decided to buy this. In my humble opinion. For that kind of money you can buy so much more really useful things.

The poor man's 101 is no longer for the poor man. Bring on the LuSH-101!V0RT3X wrote:I want one now.. but the only one on ebay is selling for $1525 and I dont know if i want one that bad

The MC-202 is basically a slightly cut down version of the SH-101 with a more sophisticated sequencer if I'm not mistaken.Crackbaby wrote:So there's 303 .. which has been done ... but THIS one has never(?!) been done before!

Exactly, uncle. LuSH-101 is going to be just fine, and far cheaper substitute.

Apart from the 101 in the name, is there any info on if it's an accurate emulation of SH-101?

Im sure ill get it regardless .. i wouldn't be much of a kvrian otherwise Aren't D16 very pricey though? As my sig says, i got plenty of synths already (that's not all, just the ones i use the most)LuSH-101's uniquely accurate sound has been achieved only through experience: countless hours have been spent analyzing classic analogue synthesizers, and then designing and implementing DSP algorithms with close attention paid to every component in the signal path—not just the approximating the overall output.

The mc-202 is the only bit of hardware I'd still like to have. I blame squarepusher. Hopefully lush-101 will kill my desireBronto Scorpio wrote:The MC-202 is basically a slightly cut down version of the SH-101 with a more sophisticated sequencer if I'm not mistaken.Crackbaby wrote:So there's 303 .. which has been done ... but THIS one has never(?!) been done before!

Audiorealism's ABL Pro was modelled on the 101/202, especially the filter. It's a bit old now but is still considered a secret weapon by many

I voted for CS80 because I really like this one.
But the Zebra structure seems much more proper for a CS80 than the Diva structure.
Then, as said before, a CS80 without polyphonic aftertouch would be average.
Fortunately uHe synths could process this magic midi message.
The keyboard from Infinite response VAX77, does the job very well but is expensive, otherwise on the second hand market some keyboards as the GEM S2, Ensoniq ASR10 etc...could be much cheaper.
