I had a few crashes with PT 11 - but even without Podolski inside - might be our special developer version.
As for the preset crash... I could not reproduce it... will install latest PT and test again tomorrow.

Well it opens and loads presets. Has not crashed yet... Aside from the other comments in the thread regarding "Pro Tools plug in protocols", I think there's an issue with the arpeggiator GUI updating when changing presets...The 'Arp Sync' field is static even though the sync obviously changes with presets. Also, maybe I'm mistaken but shouldn't an arp sync value of 4 instead of 2 produce 16th note equal divisions over 16 steps? I've been up for awhile....
I cannot reproduce the preset selection crash described earlier. Perhaps the VST/AU installer needs to be re-run or the preset folder isn't where it's supposed to be?
It's late in NYC, I've just gotten out of a 14 hour session with more to come and I probably won't be able to really hammer down on this until after the weekend, however so far so good! I've tested a one other AAX port that just can't seem to get past instantiation so as far as I'm concerned, job well done!!!
iMac i7 3.4Ghz, 16 gig RAM, 10.7.5(!), Pro Tools 11.1

The Arp Sync values should read "1/64, 1/32, 1/16, 1/8" etc., and you would select "1/16" for 16th note equal divisions. Do you see other values instead?bassntreble wrote:...shouldn't an arp sync value of 4 instead of 2 produce 16th note equal divisions over 16 steps?

I think the strings have not propagated through from dsp to gui - what people see is the parameter's index, like 1, 2, 3...10, but not the string representation like "1/32", "1/8 trip"Howard wrote:The Arp Sync values should read "1/64, 1/32, 1/16, 1/8" etc., and you would select "1/16" for 16th note equal divisions. This is what I'm seeing. Sounds like a proper assessment though Urs.Urs wrote:I think the strings have not propagated through from dsp to gui - what people see is the parameter's index, like 1, 2, 3...10, but not the string representation like "1/32", "1/8 trip"Howard wrote:The Arp Sync values should read "1/64, 1/32, 1/16, 1/8" etc., and you would select "1/16" for 16th note equal divisions. (still wondering where exactly the bug is, but we'll eventually get there)
