Dan Worrall's 4-part ACE introduction

I watched all three. Part two blew me away, and taught me a few new things, plus solidified some existing knowledge. I still get confused about the exact details of the multipliers sometimes, so it's nice to have this reminder.
The ramp generator is great fun to mess around with. It's so simple but quite unique and rare (I think the EMS synthi had something similar, that's all I can think of, I'm sure there are a few others). It's fun to patch it straight to the output and make trapezoid noodles

I got a idea, but for the modulars i think each patch input or output should have a small floating oscilloscope that is just showing the last output signal when you hover over it.
Not sure how easy that would be to implement, but i think it would be super helpful and help you break the signal apart visually.
Dan Worral is a excellent product specialist. I can't wait to see some of these for Bazille.

Please include an experimental step-sequencer in Berlin Modular if you get the time! I think a u-he step sequencer would be amazing. There's something about integrating a sequencer in with the synthesis process that just brings out the experimental pioneer in me

Hehe, Part 4 is supposed to come up when our stuff is ready for an update (see Latest Builds thread). But as always it takes longer, now we're reworking the Mac Installers from scratch, and there might be another crash bug lurking somewhere
I'll talk to Howie, maybe we can change those plans…
Cheers,

On it!
Just tried the multi-speed LFO voice stack trick as presented in part 3...but with Diva... ACE!

Awesome closure!
Two questions, though:
1. Can we hear the full song Dan made with ACE during this tutorial?
2. How about providing patches for download?

Just 4? Come on now... I am pretty sure that I am not the only user that is not only grateful for the tutorials but would really like just a little more
Great job Dan! I learned quite a few things.

Excellent finale. I've been hungry for more too so I dug back into the older ACE videos by Howie. They're also full of great info.
ACE is like a tangram - you can get so many different things out of it by craftily rearranging a relatively small number of elements. It's a good creative workout.

All I learned from the tutorials is I'm too dumb to use ACE properly. It looks really awesome but I think I'd be stumped trying to come up with anything.
