The only dfference in sound happened between the old alpha versions (Bazille 0.1 - 0.6) and the recent batch of beta versions (0.9.0 - 0.9.3). Latter indeed have a new filter algorithm, which is sound-wise a good bit closer to Diva, but CPU-wise only a tiny bit worse than the alpha version.

Hence, a patch made with any 0.9.x will sound identical in this version, while a patch made with something prior to 0.9.0 might not.

I downloaded OSX 10.10 Yosemite, Diva seems to work great, haven't used Zebra as much but I haven't had any problems, will test out Bazille today and let you know :tu:

Perhaps this is well known but when I saved a patch and entered my name (which contains umlauts) it shows up in the patch list with spaces instead of the umlauts, that is "könig" becomes "k nig".

Hey,
yes, it is known and listed under "known issues" [1052] Special characters are not available in the Preset description.
Thanks.

features:

loving it so far, and the glitches I was noticing are fixed in rev2566

wanted to toss out a few features that come to mind, mind you this may already be present and I didn't notice yet.

1. the oscillators are amazing. it would be nice if I could copy the settings (or settings and routings) from one oscillator to the other, a lot of times I will replicate osc settings only to tweak some tunings, I know it flies in the face of pulling cables in an analog world but this is after all the digital domain ;)

2. love the output section, I would really like to see a m/s option toggle for the pan pots. or maybe a m/s left / right encoder in the output / fx section?

Keep up the great work!

FIXED
DOH nevermind just read the manual and answered my own question. Nice front cover on the new manual by the way. That would make a nice wallpaper. :)

I've got a cable going from OSC 1 output into Filter input 1
No output cable from Filter 1 but got an output from filter 2 to the output volume.
filter 2 is set to to offset

Both cut off knobs in those filters effect the sound I wasn't expecting that, is that right?

"Offset......... follows filter 1 including all cutoff modulation, but shifted negatively or positively. This means that filter 2 cutoff can be directly modulated by up to four sources: two within filter 2 and two adopted from filter 1. "
Ah I see nice feature understood.

Just noticed this in Zebra. It seems that when I automate a parameter in ableton, like the cutoff, or the mod depth, the parameter will change but Live just reports it as 0.00 all the time, not a huge issue but it would nice to tell where the automated parameter is at numerically.

OSX 10.10, Live 9.1.4

Edit: Also realized this probably isn't the right thread so feel free to point me in the right direction anyone :dog:

Yup, it's the correct behavior. Makes it easy to set up a parallel or serial filter configuration with identical settings at only half the cables/knobs.

I still hear quite a bit of clicks.
Pretty much on any type of sound, but it's even more noticeable when playing poly patches.

I have not been able to get audio in to Bazille in PC.

In this thread there's a video where it works in Live9 and Mac.

When I tried it in 64bit Windows7 and Live 9.1.4. I cannot hear the audio input that I'm sending to Bazille from another track.
