Yes but I also want it to be backwards compatible with existing presets.
I also think it would be really cool as a module inside Zebra 3

It would be nice. Synths that have a little something special are always welcomed in the Arsenal. Recently, since I've now started to run Windows 64-bit binaries using linVST, I have tried the Dune 2 synth which sells for a substantial amount. How can I say, like the German soldier in the British comedy "'Allo 'allo" such a forgettable face. Totally unimpressed by the pump and grandeur. Might have been using u-he synths for too long, as well as some wonderful soundsets made by inspired designers.
So yes, if there's time for it, an updated Triple Cheese could be nice.
Here's to stimulate the vote ... A piece I did not that long ago featuring, apart from drums, Triple Cheese exclusively (with some audio processing). Actually the second part of a Triple Cheese feature. The track can be downloaded.

Ah ah. You quoted Red Dwarf and I just mentioned, at the same time, 'Allo 'Allo.whyterabbyt wrote: Zebra Cheese? Sounds worse than dog's milk.

All right. Then you might take delight in the original "Camembert Électrique"

That's where the inspiration came from for that set (of course there was also a subtle hat tip to Howard)

When I saw that Howard listed Gong as one of his favorite bands, I was pleasantly surprised. Gong with Daevid Allen (R.I.P.) and not the Pierre Moerlen follow-up which has no relation except perhaps "Shamal" which had Bloomdido still in the band. "Gong est Mort" and "Gong Live" remains my favorites although Daevid did quite a few good Gong concerts later on, until a few years ago.

Well Howard was in Gong for a while (not the early years but he did play with Daevid Allen)

I don't recall seeing his name on any album, and I had them all until Gong Live, as well as 3 Daevid Allen albums (my favorite, "Good Morning" and the next one after that with the long title) .... OK, just looked it up, this was in 2000. By then I had lost track of Gong.

The only Gong album I was on was "Live 2 Infinitea", plus the DVD of my first gig in 2000. A financially disastrous USA tour in 2001 killed the band. Reformed several years later with Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy back on board (yay!) but unfortunately that liaison didn't last. Gong are still very active these days without Daevid (RIP) or any of the 2000 band members.

Yes, I've seen some 'new' Gong on youtube. Haven't catched on, though. The 'Ungong' (I think) clips with Daevid, Steve, Miquette and Didier are great. Totally great bass player also.
