g200kg, can we have an official feature request thread in your forum? Knobman and Skinman are great, but there are a few features/changes that I'd like to suggest.

That's nice. Just make the shadows of the knobs darker and less diffused so the knobs do not seem to "hover" over the surface....

It is nice, but I can't help thinking, three different fonts on the same object? Why?

Thanks for the tip. I started making VSTs without much graphics experience, so I'm kinda picking it up as I go along.

:hihi: Because they're based on effects from the 60s:

Hi guys,

I'm working on a knob....

Is there anyway to rotate a vertical mask?

No, but for what in this knob? The blue light can be done with a rotate mask changing the start and end.

Thanks, oh well nevermind. :(

It's for the highlight on the black ring, which would be fine if the light source was directly above but I was going for the standard upper left angle.

We have not hosted any of these files because there is a lot of time required to contact each author, but have included the ability to upload your creations for permanent hosting if so desired.

Whilst I'm here I'd love to check this link but get a big long error that starts with this....

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' :(

You can also do a (rotatable) highlight with the Specular function or a negative Inside Shadow. Edge Highlight with 30-40$ offset could also do.
For special highlights I started to make separate graphics and place them in the texture folder.

That's a couple of good leads there, thanks. I hadn't thhought about a negative inner shadow :)

a feature request/ work around
-is it possible to make a straight line greater than 100% any longer?
I just picked up the new version - and if the canvas is rectangular, I cannot make the line tool draw a line @ 90 degrees that spans the length of the canvas.

I can manage with the horizontal lines, kind of, if I set #s to 1.

Just wondering if I've missed the obvious.
..what goes around comes around..
