I was just thinking that this could be assign to a distortion pot :
0 nothing, 100 yellow glowing light :D
Easiest way: take a photo of a glowing tube into Knobman and vari saturation and brightness from>to%.

Thank you for the tip.

Ive got a few links to textures sites, but can't find any proper grid samples...

I would not do this in 3D, as you need a different graphic for each stop (much work).
Doing a front view would be quiet simple
- a circlefill or a sphere with a lightning specular
- set X/Y zoom 90>100 or similar
- preferences: frames: 2
- a text layer with the same zoom change
- and maybe another white circle/ellipse (alpha <100) for the shine with some zoom or position animate
- a shadow with offset and diffuse from>to change
- colors and backgrounds

Cool! I'll try it out. I don't need the whole panel, just one "drawbar".

Something like this knob in the middle?

I've recently gone through and re-organized my old Knobman stuff on my website:

http://www.lesliesanford.com/vst/knobman/

I consider my Knobman efforts to be mediocre compared to many others, but occasionally I'll get an enquiry about them, enough so that I thought it worth making them more accessible.

Thank you Leslie!
All that is a very nice work!

Several of the 2007-2008 websites have now disappeared. And not all has been archived in Internet Wayback Machine (archive.org), and the official Knobman gallery misses probably some of these old gem stones. Let's hope that some of the other contributors of those years will too, as you, re-upload some of their nice collections.

It's really nice to see that the current thread is not dead.
