VST To RTAS Adapter (Cannot Activate)

Anybody could help know why I cannot activate the Adapter to convert the VST Plugins... I have OSX and bought the Adapter Online but It asks me for a serial to activate. I did not get a serial .. I did get a liscense number ID which I tried anyway but did not work.... Thanks
