Hi all,
Sorry for reviving this old thread.
I was watching one of Kenny Gioia's video about "Creating FX Slots for Plugins in REAPER" (check https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1RDUFxsz0Q).
In it, he talks about using a JS plugin as a placeholder / dummy plugin.
I wonder though whether a VST3 plugin (which does not consume any CPU when not being used unlike VST2 plugins) would be better? Do you know if such a dummy VST3 plugin exists?
