Postby Bansaw; Tue Sep 05, 2017 7:06 am Is there some freeware that will take a MIDI file and let me strip out unwanted data ?

I've got some MIDI tracks. All I want is the Drum lines and the Velocity information.
(I think Drums are lines 35-50 for example.)

Is there a program out there that will just let me strip out the bits I want from a MIDI file ?

You're posting in the development forum; you'll get answers here to help you write code. I think you'd be better off posting in the hosts forum.
