Tonight we're going from ambient to traditional to modern EM, having very recent releases on the show again. Starting out with the new album by Erik Wøllo having very ambient sounds, visit the fresh release by Johannes Schmoelling, and going on a shifted tunes trip with the Cosmic Octave Orchestra. We then go relaxing with Geigertek and enjoy two tracks of a new free of cost sampler having Magic Dimension and Alpha Lyra.
This also is the last episode before a short break, as there will be no new show until November.

I just want to thank you again for the delicious Syndae podcasts. They are always welcome, especially when my two local Public Broadcasting radio stations are fundraising.

Yes, I support NPR with automatic monthly contributions. But I still have to tolerate the droning pleas for donations several times a year. Wouldn't it be nice if subscribers could block the fundraising and still get the content? The current best solution to that is to have Syndae on my iPhone in the car.

Thank you, Stefan!

I'm looking at a quite good filled playlist of contemporary electronic music tonight. Some tracks of tonight's show or the according albums need more than one spin to get into them. So listen carefully tonight and enjoy an XL episode with Enso, Mizati, Noston, Pete Farn, Sigmafly, and Transcend with Time.

The final regular show for 2011 is up, and it's become a rather traditional one. And despite it being the last, there are quite a bunch of new releases that just want to come and visit you and your music player. First on my show, then in your shopping basket. Well, this is an XL edition again, as I could not decide upon any of the tracks not to be played. So enjoy the extra time with music by BatteryDead, Erez Yaary, Justin Vanderberg, Level Pi, Sebastien Marchal, TMA, Yog-Sothoth, and as a teaser for the upcoming special, a closer by Brainwork.

Is it just me or has 2011 passed very quickly? However, it was a great year musical vise, bringing lots of pleasure to my ears with many, many releases in electronic music and related genres. Reflecting upon the year, syndae had broadened its fields quite a bit, and I of course hope you liked the increased diversity in styles and sounds. Well, now it's time for taking a rest. As a closing episode, like in the past three years, I am happy to present another two-part special featuring great artists with great tracks especially made or provided for christmas time. Lots of fine songs await your ears for listening well, with more than an hour of pleasing music in the family edition and another more than 40 minutes of slightly more challenging tracks in the mature edition. I would not like to miss any of these fabulous contributions kindly given for your fun only by BatteryDead, Cousin Silas, Glenn Main, Happiness in Aeroplanes, Janne Hanhisuanto, Kebu, Klangzaun, Michael Brückner, Michael Shipway, Nothing New Music, Psicodreamics, Remy, Steen Jorgensen, Synth.nl, Uwe Reckzeh, Von Haulshoven, WaveWorld, and Wounds.

Hope you missed the show! Back on schedule wishing you all the best for the New Year, welcome to the first edition of syndae in 2012. And we start off with some brand new material tonight not narrowed to a specific style, presenting tracks by Ambient Anonymous, Das Kraftfuttermischwerk, and The X-Structure. And finally, if you didn't know, yet, it's time for the German Schallwelle awards. Voting is open and you'll get a great track of Frank van Bogaert as a dainty on him playing live at the Schallwelle event.

So 2012 is taking up speed music wise. The Schallwelle awards votings are in their final 10 days, and there are not many public tickets left either. Tonight I have tracks from the laureates of the special awards given to individuals who rendered outstanding services in electronic music, Johannes Schmoelling and Uwe Saher (Brainwork). And, of course, new enigmatic releases are on the menu as well, this time with tracks by Carboneids, Global Express OSC, and Weldroid.
