:-o

This is very, very sad news. Tim was possibly the nicest person to grace KvR since, unfortunately appropriately, Doru Malaia.

:(

I like to think he is getting an up close tour of the universe for which he clearly had a special appreciation.

It is such a credit to Tim that there has been such an outpouring of support and sympathy for him. He was a kind and considerate man. RIP Tim.

I didn't ever have any dealings with Tim, but I'm certain I used some of his ubiquitous presets on various synths. Anyone who talked about him certainly made him sound like a very generous and giving person.

RIP.

This indeed comes as a shock and is sad news. I had communicated with Tim on any number of issues and he was such a fine gentleman and always went out of his way to help. As an earlier poster mentioned, his soul will certainly live on in our sounds and tunes and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. RIP Tim and program the universe to be a wonderful place for all creatures!

WHAT!?!

Oh my God! I really cant believe this - thanks for letting us know vurt! What a terrible shock!

Tim was always one of the most supportive, inspirational people it has been my pleasure to chat with (albeit through email) - Oh no!!! Just last week I was thinking I should drop Tim a mail soon about astrophotography and atari interfaces, as he was a wealth of knowledge and had an amazingly sharing and helpful spirit...

Oh this is so terrible... my prayers are with his family and with Tim...
