I have a real liking for "Brigher than a 1000 suns". Many fans don't like that album at all, but KJ went through several different stylistic periods, gotta apprecite their efforts.
It depends on which side one is coming from.
For example: Had it been Ultravox that had put out "Brighter than a 1000 suns" in 1986, I think most of us Ultravox fans would have called it one of their best albums.
