A little late with this but just found out the other day but there's a mix contest hosted by pureMix (Fab Dupont) for which you must submit before 1st June.

It's worth checking out as you get access to not only the recorded tracks that require the mix, but the videos of how they were recorded.

The Loop Game Round 3

PLEASE READ CONTEST RULES BEFORE SUBMITTING!

What is the Loop Game?

Simply put, The Loop Game is a contest geared towards practicing percussion, rhythm, and arrangement.

You will be given a loop. Take this loop, and do what you want to it! Re-sample it to where it's not even recognizable! Use the loop as many times as you'd like, add what ever effects you'd like, and add your kicks, claps, snares etc. over the beat!

Restrictions:
Since this is The Loop Game, you are not allowed to use VST instruments such as Pianos, Guitars, Synths, Basslines etc.

You must only use the loop, the effects/filters you add on, and one-shot samples such as kicks, claps, snares, hats, percussion etc.

From there, arrange the beat how you'd like. Fine tune it, and then upload it to the contest! (Submissions must be no longer than 2 minutes. -- Don't worry. All the rules are on the contest page!).

This time around, yes, WE ARE ACCEPTING 808's!
