Hello everyone
I was just thinking about this today but does anybody have any information about how artists from different parts of the world collaborated before the internet?
I know some artists would send DAT tape and stuff back and forth but is there links to some interesting articles about early collaboration that anybody knows about? I have googled a few different things and the only collab I found using DAT tapes was from a band called The Postal Service but they were doing this in the early 2000's. I'd love to hear about the first methods of remote collaboration and even get a timeline of how it changed.
If anybody has any information, articles or stories please share
