It would be a great joy in my life to never see him live. Unfortunately, media is so infatuated with him it's inevitable.

I have never seen Kanye West perform, I dont watch much tv where artists perform..I dont do the American Idol type shows, I dont watch MTV or VH1, I dont watch talk shows (I use to watch Craig but I bailed when he announced he's bailing, but I never saw Kanye West on his show), I dont watch awards shows...if I was to see him perform it would be because I was seeking it out which is unlikely (no hate toward him, just not my thing). TBH I not even sure I would know what he looked like if I met him...I dont know what you're watching but he's not been forced on me

Anyway, I think too much confidence is better than too little, in case of making music, that is. Also it's better to not to listen to what musicians have to say about themselves or anything else, quite often great musicians talk some BBS. Again, I never heard of mr West, so I'm not defending him.
