Inspired by the topic "Great album opening tracks" by el-bo.
Creds to this user for starting such a great thread!

You know when you've listened through an amazing album, and you eventually get to the last song of it, and it becomes the moment that leaves you speechless.
Or that last song that completes the album in a certain way (perhaps completing a story through the album, or somehow satisfy the emotions that has been conveyed through the album).

There are countless ways of achieving an amazing ending track, so post your favourites, and why not motivate why you choose those.

I bet this theme may be slightly trickier for some, compared to the one with opening track, but hey, just go for it and blow our minds! ;)

Here you have mine:

The album is a very emotional one, but it reaches its climax right in the last minutes where it evolves to this heavy and noisy "liquid" of a melody, and then simply fades away and leaves you sitting there in silence with the echo of the melody still spinning in your head.

Another emotional album, with both moody and intense parts. It's completed with this cold and melancholic acoustic song, and by its very last minor chord you feel like you've digested the whole world's misery and just sit there staring at the wall.

Now to a little more optimistic track! Not much to say about this more than it surely have the feeling of a final track on an album, and it's a very funny feeling to hear it end the same way as it started.

Electronic albums can also have great endings of course! What makes this a good ending track to me is that it introduces a real instrument as the leading element, giving the album a little different vibe in the end. The melody at the end of the track is also quite suitable for an ending track.

The classic "ending an album" song would be Eclipse from The Dark Side of the Moon. Even the title fits.

When I was much younger, I'd set up the vinyl and lie down on the floor between the two speakers.

Ahh ... the memories.
Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.
