Great album ending tracks

Nine Inch Nails - Hurt.
People say its not as good as Johnny Cash's version, but it really shines best as the final movement on The Downward Spiral.
To be fair I'd say the closing three tracks on most NIN albums (except the new one) are some of the best finales there are.

First thing I thought when I saw this was live albums, as gigs generally tend to end with a band's most popular songs, but could only think of one where the last track is the best one IMO:

Oh yeah, good one. Johnny Cash's version is also great and of course a tad more accessible, but the original is still great finale, I agree.mutantdog wrote:Nine Inch Nails - Hurt.

Classic and perfect.

Off the top of my head...
Talk Talk - It's you
Orbital - Out there somewhere? (part 2)
Beach House - Irene
Especially the Orbital track... wow! So good... one of the top tracks of all time regardless of genre, I'm not kidding. Just listened to In Sides on the 'tube and it took me right back to the summer of '96.
Good times
