NI User Libraries unavailable, Forum registration disabled?

Not sure where else to post about this. I would post about it on the NI forums, but it seems that registering has been disabled.
Does anybody here with any connection to NI know why their user libraries for Absynth and Kontakt have been unavailable for the last few months? Since a big part of buying Komplete was the user libraries, I'd really like to see what all the fuss is about (there are definitely some great Reaktor ensembles, so I imagine there are some pretty cool sounds in the other areas as well).

They write because of maintenance but you can take a ticket and ask the support.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

I checked this out for you, and got the same notice: "Sorry, the User Library is currently not available due to maintenance work". I don't know if registration is disabled, but if it is, it's probably related and will be resolved when the library issue is.
These libraries have been around for a long time, and I have no doubt NI is just fixing something on the back end. They'll probably be back up and running in a day or two.

I think it's been a lot longer than a few months - maybe a year almost now?
I have no clue why - I don't think they have commented on it at all.

The libraries have been gone for that long? I was in the user forums earlier this year--maybe two months ago. Maybe the two parts of the site aren't related, but I had no problem getting into the forums. I checked, though, and someone did ask in February how long the libraries had been unavailable. No one answered him, unfortunately.Deep Purple wrote:I think it's been a lot longer than a few months - maybe a year almost now?

Yes, the Reaktor UL hasn't been interrupted, but it's been a long time and certainly since sometime last year that the others haven't been available.
Not sure there's been any explanation of that at all.
