Awesome! May I inquire as to how you got started or established? It's interesting to me how people get to this level.

I'm practically a hermit now, if that was my studio I would never see the light of day again. Awesome setup.Unspoken wrote:Here are some pictures of my studio:

EDIT - Oh! You mean the screens? Doh! I thought monitors, as in speakers. Ignore me, I'll go away...

Well, I had good financial background and a lot of faith, that I can succeed. At th beginning it was not easy, because you can't get a lot of customers, if you don't have anything to show (references). This is now my full time jobe for 2.5 years. It's also my dream job.Jace-BeOS wrote:Awesome! May I inquire as to how you got started or established? It's interesting to me how people get to this level.
I believe in visualization of your goals + being thankful for everything you already have. This two things alone can sometimes make all the difference and suddenly important customer knock on your door.
Oh and btw... studio is in the basement of my house, so I don't have to drive to work.

Monitors in an open floor plan next to the living room? You have a very tolerant wife.

actually it's been a real problem but you have it backwards, when I play I use headphones a lot but I worry too much that I'm bothering her and it breaks my concentration (I really prefer to all alone when I write and play, especially when I'm recording guitar)...I did get some real quality time tonite which was awesome...but I do have a very tolerant wife...because you bet your bottom dollar that I'm not easy to live with and I think I found the one woman who actually can
