What is that Korg module?
It was a Korg Radias Module. It had a software editor.
Versus the Virus next door the Radias had a smooth sound to my ears.
I said it was 2003, I think it was more like 2005ish.

Ah, thank you for replying.
I dloaded your picture to see the name Radias enough to read.
Both Radias and Virus I read have editor/librarian software. I see Virus loads as VST !
I heard Radias demo`d on Youtube and it sounds a lot like my Yamaha module.
Both digital 'analog emulation'. Similar technologies.
For all to enjoy, here is a vid of the Radias in use.

Thanks, annode. That looks pretty sturdy.
I'm in the beginning stages of designing a studio space but it'll be pretty small. I'm looking for creative uses of space.

From my experience, I can offer info using 1.5" emt conduit, as I have used.
Using the available connectors, a used electronics drum stand w/connectors and a 10' length of 1.5" diameter emt conduit from Loews or Home Depot and some Ultimate connectors, you can construct a structure which can be easily broken down, assembled and re-designed. It can utilize space very efficiently.
Although the company Ultimate only make just a few connector configurations now,and are grossly overpriced, you can still keep your costs down by buying an inexpensive drum stand w/many included connectors/fittings. You can also use inexpensive connectors and fittings commonly used with conduit, found at hardware outlets.
I posted links to the accessories you will need, supplied from Ultimate as well as the conduit.

The 1st link below includes fastening bolts. If you buy without and supply your own nuts and bolts[2nd link]you can save money.

I think this system is perfect for mounting modular equipment not to mention efficient, easy hands on access.

Since I was focusing from the wrong side of the camera, that might've actually been helpful.cryophonik wrote:It looks like your head is suspended from that mic stand!Jace-BeOS wrote:This is kind of a cheat, innit?

Sorry, just messing around I keep meaning to participate in this thread as more than an observer (to post a studio shot), and I was editing photos at the moment, had a few self portraits in the studio, so... I decided to be silly.Your face shot[in your studio room]has taken all the attention from my studio setup pix.

Lastest pic of my music space (was taken about a month ago).
The layout (and gear) hasn't changed much in the last couple of years as I find it perfect for my workflow.

Time to grow it out and go back to just playing bass again.... back when I was able to make sounds happen.
Also...all this stuff!
