Thanks! Since it's a direct link, I couldn't find anything else about the file.

Here's some of my stuff: https://soundcloud.com/shadowsoflife. If you hear something you like, I'm looking for collaborators.

Yup, the patches were made in Kontakt 4.2.4, so it'll work in that or any newer version of Kontakt.

If anybody wants to make a version of this in Maize Sampler, I'm game. Although the samples are named numerically, they aren't necessarily sorted in order by dynamic. I'd be happy to provide a list of them in order, though.

Oh, I hope someone do... Anyway thanks!

I'd love to take a stab at programming these in Reaper with Shortcircuit.
Could I get the list, Greg?
Never use adequate force when excessive force is available.

Sure! Actually, I'll just post the sample list here.

I have the low timbale mapped on the white keys from C2 to B2 (C3 being middle C). The high timbale is mapped on the white keys from C3 to C4.

The flams are on C#, D#, F#, G#, and the "bob marley" is on A#. This pattern applies to both the low and high timbales, with each being in their respective octave.

Send pm to Greg and ask.

Aha! Just what I was looking for - the ordered list by dynamic. Great!

One other question, if you'd be so kind:

I'm about to make my own patch using above order. My DAW's sampler maps velocity from 0 - 127 (as expected).

Are these samples "equally spaced" in an acoustic sense? Taking the Low Timbale Hit as example, do I just map the 20 samples with equal velocity e.g. 1/20th of 128 per sample? Or is there some inherent "weighting" in the way they're mapped to the sampler?

I am obviously about to go and experiment, but asking their creator seems like a sensible step :)
