hey, heres a back link to the front

is it? seems to me it's sample dumps from a large collection of drummachines. it was arranged in folders, but with so many downloads, they've zipped it up. it's not hard to get samples from a drummachine, most of them have a wav dump feature... and when they don't you simply cruise your way through it spitting them into the wav editor... honestly, i don't see why it would be a commercial library... and i know they offer it for free to everyone at the site... it's not a hacked backend link... so - um... no argues just curious as to why you scratchin yr head?

ABOUT:

HEXAWE is a label for piggy tracker releases. The catalog has mp3 renders (for easy listening) and zip archives (containing samples, sav sources, and other treats for the heads). All works on this page are protected from you by the creative commons attribution 3.0 unported license.

The label is run by several bosses, all with access to the FTP server of this site. It's a low level chaos wiki so us bosses adhear to some standards to keep the label kickin.

If you want to relase here or think you're boss material, get in #hexawe on efnet irc and talk to an op!

If you want to be updated when new ch00nz hit this page, subscribe to the piggy lj rss feed.

i know it from somewhere.
It's widely circulated, but I've never seen it for sale anywhere. If it's commercial, the original source seems lost to history...

added descriptions of the sites - haven't gotten stuff from every site yet, maybe i implement a qualtiy rating system on each entry... based on amount of content, number of wav v/ less common format, structure?

Here's another:

http://www.gemafreie-welten.de/index.php?sprache=14 - this one... not sure if anything is free on it or not... it has a shopping cart on there, and the samples i listened to had beeps... so i'm assuming i should take it down, or make a third list for commercial site with odd stufF??? urk.

psitech... about to be added (second list, since DTA! won't grab them.. but they are there so yeah...) - i'm making a drumkit from one of my synthesizers right now, i got 3 minutes recorded and now i'm splicing out the usable stuff... very "retro" style kit, but with more flavor than the old drummachines... good for glitchy ness or esp. chippy type tuneages

i'm a little overwhelmed at the moment
