when i say "it's a nice 909" there are other 909 sets around that are also nice. the rimshot note was sort of a "look how much attention i'm paying" as i had released an emulative software drum synth around this time (and i believe chris did as well).
honestly i wouldn't be surprised if these samples were all incorporated into other free sample distributions by now.
