Found this while looking on their forum to see if it had been asked and asnwered:
http://www.toontrack.com/faq/will-my-ez ... drummer-2/
Will previously released EZdrummer Libraries (EZX’s) work in EZdrummer 2

Yes. In fact, they will be optimized for EZdrummer 2 and include new graphics and effect chain presets. The EZX updates are only compatible with EZdrummer 2 and will be provided free of charge to EZdrummer 2 customers (available May 6th, 2014).

Anyone know when it will be available to download?

The potential downside there is: we will have to download and reinstall every single, updated, EZX library; is this correct?

Post

No you need to download updates and patches not the whole library. Updates were added to all of my purchased libraries this morning.

Also they definitely said to install EZD2 FIRST before any other updates (and sorta suggested some might be rolled into the main update anyway)

This is VERY tempting for someone who has to build a quick and very nice drum track. Well done Toontrack

Downloaded and working. I'll be up late tonight I think.

Can someone please verify: Will "Tap 2 Find" work with midi inputs (e.g. e-drums)? Or is it only for clicking drums inside the interface, as presented in the video demos?

It definitely works from a keyboard, so I presume edrums will work too.

Any Superior Drummer users have/plan to buy EZD2? I upgraded from EZD1 to SD2 a few years ago and hardly ever use EZD1, but EZD2 looks pretty incredible, and I hope that TT will bring some of those features into the next version of SD.

So the "pop rock" ezx is just version one sounds for ezd2 right?

After downloading I get file is broken errors. Since others have installed and it's working, hopefully it was just a corrupt download. First world problem, I'll have to redownload and then there is still no guarantee it will work.

Plus again, I really don't like the new forum over at toontrack :x

Yes (with the original midi too I presume).

Looks like the servers are rammed, no surprise really.
