using a sample as synthsound? Lead etc.? Alchemy?

i got some loops and some sounds are really nice, though i dunno which notes are played:

1. is it possible to use a part of the loop and use it as a fully playable leadsound?
2. if so, how do i find out and set the sampled part to a root key? for example c5?
