I'm trying to build a machine for slicing samples and reorganizing slices, for glitch and experimental stuff. I used to chop sounds manually in DAW, but I though of a way to automate it...

Edit: It's now available for testing, feel free to try and use:

Output example, running variation of preset 'test4' through some of supplied samples:

Currently, It looks and sounds like this:

It gets really funny when you throw in your own samples, just use the same name and replace the wavs. 14 second per sample is being used, anything more will be ignored, anything less and offset range is not fully usable. Also note this thing is meant to use in 'sampler mode', offset settings will be unusable when switched to DFD.

Definately looks like it would be useful and fun (in the kontakt realm), and more so if youre able to put your own samples into it.

Thats just my 2 cents (conversion rates not applied). :)

Alright, so the test version is now available to anyone. Kontakt 4, full version is needed to run it. If you have comments, suggestions, please do bother to post.

Updated.

In case anyone is following this, I have updated the machine prototype. There is one semi-major playback improvement and some new programming options. Also a couple more presets. Follow the link in first post if interested.

And here's another clip / guide to loading presets and modifying them.
