He's talking about Granulate, which Echoes in the Attic mentioned. OTOH, that comes with samples and its only £25, which is pretty cheap for a heavily scripted 'sound design' type Kontakt ensemble, pertty much what the paid version of Photosynthesis is.

not 100% sure what the differences are between it and the pay version but there is a free version of Granulate here at VSTBuzz freebies
honestly, I've not had the time to load it up and check it out, but if it's anything like Time Drops, it is a pandora's box of fun.
