Hi all
I am going to record some kick & snare samples for personal use
Is it a must to play them back in order?
which means:
The 1st take of snare close mic is played alongside with the 1st take of OH mic & the 1st take of room mic

What happens if:
The 1st take of snare close mic is played alongside with the 4th take of OH mic & the 7th take of room mic ??

Will it cause any problem?

Why?
I have seen people mixing different snares together and seem totally fine
1st take of close mic + 4th take of OH mic + 7th take of room mic = playing 3 different snares at the same time, right?

Why bother to ask the community if you can answer your own question?

Maybe it just depends...

Uh, no. It's a lot more than that because of the very fact of "OH" and "room". Which should be self-evident.
