Searching piano vsti that can be used to create piano loops samplepack [legal question]

Read the agreements, which are pretty much boilerplate. Both entities state 'sound library' as the thing you agree not to rejigger and redistribute. I don't know anything about Pianoteq which uses no samples. So if you buy or bought that, read the agreement. I rather expect yellowmix's take will out here and it's a sound library so no. But "loops samplepack" is just a no go here from samples sound libraries, or anything NI or EWQL considers a sound library. And again that agreement is boilerplate, it would be passing uncommon for an entity to not have essentially that language.

Most of the pianos in the SampleScience Player are public domain:

You can create your piano loop samplepack without any legal issues as long as you use pianos which have a public domain license. It'll be written on the SampleScience Player screen when you load the sound.
The City Piano, Beskhu Piano and Iowa University Piano Light are good quality pianos, all PD.

Dunno if its good enough but as mentioned you are welcome to use the City. Its Public Domain. I sampled it. Its been used for at least one ap.
