I speculate that there will be a YT live transmission where they make an announcement.

I have it on good authority that on feb 28 they will be announcing an announcement on March 31.

I will skip this release. I heard volume 2 “More Cow Bell” is better.

I have it on good authority that it will be a John Cage sample library...

i'd like to start a thread of pointless speculation and rumour re what that might be.

They had a 30% sale for Black Friday, then a slightly odd 40% sale starting on Christmas day (you got 40% off any libraries you had on your wish list). They have announced they are closing the current Labs sample listing but are going to relaunch it some time in the future but it will be different.

To me that feels like a clearing of the decks - either to get to sort of encourage people who would have bought libraries to have bought them and/or an attempt to raise cash in a short period.

My speculation is it might be

1. Move to cloud based offering

2. Move to smaller cheaper libraries - maybe repackaging what they already have

3. They've been bought by Roli and are working on a bunch of MPE'd libraries.

2 and 3 would be good for me. 1. currently of no interest.

I'm hoping it isn't that they are closing down or it's just another library being announced.

So what are your guesses?
40% sale? Wow. Hope they do that again as I'm interested in Chamber Strings or LASS for a sound I can use on more R & B and pop recordings.

that was their 10th Anniversary so I think perhaps not.

The Norwegian Ant Guild (NAG) put this project onto "undefined date conflict resolution" status.
Never f*** with ants.

I'm hoping it's going to be a Formica rubra orchestra - given there are another 64 species of ant in Norway it would be good if it can be confirmed before I have a wasted journey to their open evening at Air Studios.

Probably has to do with the announced relaunch of their Labs section and the charity that goes along with it. It looks like they are very close to having raised a quarter million pounds for charity. So close that reaching that amount might actually coincide with the event on the 28th. And wasn't there a fee that would be used for the charity if you wanted to participate in the event?

I’m sure they would have done research. Personally, I wouldn’t want any old ant

Many feel it will be their choir library. Could be.

It is probably a library, or the redux of their Labs (which is due to shut down shortly).

Either way, they have done this the last, well every release they have done in the last few years came with this type of hype (or something similar).

Cloud-no.
Subscription-no.
Anything else-not likely.
Library- almost 100%.

At first I loved their niche libraries. But I am tired of low level screeching strings done a million ways. So hopefully... their choir library.

Maybe another famous composer tool kit library, or Choirs, or .... ?
