Off the radar for a lot of people (Mac only), but AudioSpillage has DrumSpillage and the new Elecktroid 25% off till Nov. 26th:
http://www.audiospillage.com/index.php
Haven't tried Elektroid yet - from what I can tell it's "light" version of the AudioSpillage synth - less models, 8 pads - but has sequencing AND sample handling (including layering).
DrumSpillage sounds great, is remarkably versatile (since you can key-track pitch it can be used as an FM/physically modeled synth, and is great for basses). It's especially well-suited to minimal, tech-house, bass music (like some of the new minimal D&B stuff), etc. The dev has been great with updates - it's already been much improved over the original version, has a great/simple gui has all the "pro" features (multi-outs, assignable chokes, sample export, etc.).
The engine is unique enough that if you own, say Tremor, etc., it's a great complement.
My only wish would be an additional cymbal/hi hat model.
(I'm not affiliated at all with the dev - just praise where praise is due).

Geist isn't the only FXpansion drum product JRRShop has at a great discount. Uncle Eric's also got BFD2 boxed for under $136. The 15% discount (use "Thanksgiving15" promo code, good through midnight on Cyber Monday) takes another $20 off, making it around $115 -- a ridiculously good deal. Eric says it's no mistake, that's the real price.
