Just a reminder -- affiliate "deals" such as the one I just deleted are NOT considered bargains for purposes of Bargain Center, so please don't post them here. Some companies I admire and respect have affiliate programs. Great! If you participate in such a program and someone asks about buying, send them a PM with your link or ID. Just be honest -- explain to then what the deal is, and that you stand to profit if they accept it. Most people won't mind, as long as you're up front about what you're doing.

Just a shame that Cakewalk gives a bad deal for Euro customers, putting Euro and Dollar at the same rate, even though dollar is only about 80% worth of the Euro, meaning that Euro customers should have paid about €119 to match $149, yet we have to pay €149, €30 more than the deal dollar customers get.

Don't they know there is a crisis here in Euro zone, we need all the help we can get

Maybe they do this to make Euro crisis worse...

I just realized I can do you one better. B&H has Sonar X1 Studio for $154.99 with free shipping. Buy it now and you'll get the upgrade to Producer free from Cakewalk. Boom, Producer for $155.

Now, if you do the Sonar X1 LE -> Studio -> Producer approach for $169 that I listed earlier, you do come out a little ahead, because the LE Bundle includes the MP3 encoder activation (normally $19.99) as well as a Digital Sound Factory sampler pack and the first hour of the "Sonar X1 Explained" video from Groove3. But if you don't want/need those extras, hey, save another $14.

To be honest, I think a lot of people should seriously consider picking up the Sonar X1 LE Starter Pack. $19.99 for that is a crazy deal all on its own. X1 LE is fully-featured, with the vast majority of the DAW features from Sonar X1 Producer. You give up Step Sequencer and Score Editor, but you do get the Matrix View and basically all the other editing features. It is 32-bit only, and it doesn't get the updates that the other X1 editions do. It's limited to 8 simultaneous VSTis, which is probably the biggest restriction, but perfectly serviceable. And of course you get far fewer included instruments and effects. Here's the complete list of features and stuff; check it out:

Amen to that.

Not just the DAW is a steal, but also Cakewalk Sound Center and Drummer is included, and these VST's can be used freely on their own or with other DAWs if preferred without the need for rewire.

I purchased Sonar X1 Studio year ago.
Next month after purchasing I have found 5 critical bugs which block work on this DAW.
They are still reproduced on last x1d update.
