It was last night when I posted and purchased one. Maybe it was one at that price?

They have a great price on a dt-25 on the blowout site too. I'd post it but I'm having bad luck with that

I would do this if the guitar had pitch-to-midi conversion. I have never been able to figure out why Line6 does not do this, though I suppose it is all price and target audience. It would be incredible, though, if you could plug a Variax in to an HD500 and then pull a MIDI 5 pin or USB out from that to control synthesizers. I have done something similar with my Godin XTSA guitar though not entirely through an HD500 - acoustic bridge and magnetic pickups out to separate amp models on the HD500 and the pitch-to-MIDI out to an old Roland pitch-to-midi converter then into synthesizers.
