I noticed that on Friday. Tonehammer was included in the 40% off and then later that day they weren't, which is really a shame cause that was the only ones I was interested in.
I guess somehow they weren't pleased with their products being reduced by 40% and forced Bigfishaudio to change it.

well to be honest, im not going to pay full price for any of tonehammers samples, im not saying theyre not good quality libraries, but I just cant justify it, especially not while soniccouture has a 2 for one deal on, so theyve lost a sale here unless the discount appears again.

Funny, that's exactly what I've been thinking.
Tonehammer does have some rather unique stuff and at 40% I'd definitely pick it up but it is rather specialised and you might just use it once or twice.
Just in case you didn't know they do have a discount system; 10% over $100 spent, 15% over $200 etc. but it's not quite 40% of eg. $59.

yeah i wasnt planning on spending over $100 though, and I dont see the 10% as particularly enticing when all id want would be the frendo and maybe waterphone, but I dont need that right now.
Looks like soniccouture might get some more business though, and i think id probably use their samples much more often than tonehammers

has anyone tried the sonic couture synthi? i am thinking about getting it with the bowed piano, but am worried that it will be geared towards a style of music that I don't do. i am interested in the more pink floyd, eno, tangerine dream sort of sounds, but read a review that said it was all geared for a particular style of music (didn't say what style of music).

Meffy, you might as well delete this thread. Apparently the two thread concept is too difficult to grasp.

Thank you. The whole point of having a separate thread just to announce bargains is so we don't have to check the thread every time someone posts "cool thanks". Then you have to go back to the last post you read and go forward just to see if you missed anything (I would have missed the UltraAnalog deal as it got lost in the chatter).gckilla wrote:Lol, I agree with Teksonik. I keep checking the bargains thread only to see people go on and on. Very few things make me irate. This is one of them.
Anyway no big deal. We'll never get everyone to follow protocol so we might as well dump this thread since apparently re-naming that thread Bargains Only and then putting this thread right beneath it isn't going to happen. Oh well it only costs a little extra time and being able to weed through all the "downloading now" posts to find the real bargains.

Or, we could really drum up this thread and then get a little reverse psychology going and make people think that this is the thread to hang out in?
Did you get your serial yet?
Man, I think that was kind of sneaky the way they did that copy protection. I mean, it's not like I could have asked the company. I don't have access to the internet!!!!
By the way, do you know any other threads I can crap?
Synthedit automatically means crap! It all should be free! freeeeeeeeeeee!
How's that for a start?

Is producerloops.com offering any specials or coupon codes right now? I'm looking at picking up something and was wondering if there's anything else I need to pick up along with it if it's on sale.

Couldn't we have a more 'tough' policy in which non-bargain posts would deleted. is that possible?

I hope that's not directed at me, but if it is, could you please point me in the direction of where I should post my question?Wittenberg wrote:Couldn't we have a more 'tough' policy in which non-bargain posts would deleted. is that possible?

I certainly hope not as well. The whole purpose of this thread was to ask questions just like yours. The point was not to clog the Bargain thread with discussions questions etc. You did it perfectly as planned unfortunately it's impossible to get everyone on the same page. So we have to live with visiting the Bargains thread expecting to see a deal only to read "cool thanks". No big deal.pandashake wrote:I hope that's not directed at me, but if it is, could you please point me in the direction of where I should post my question?Wittenberg wrote:Couldn't we have a more 'tough' policy in which non-bargain posts would deleted. is that possible?
I have a feeling Wittenberg wasn't addressing you but I don't presume to answer for him.
Oh and I'm sorry but I don't have an answer to your question.
